The elegant letterhead used by modernist icon Gertrude Stein, designed by her lifelong partner, Alice B. Toklas. The ring of text reads “Rose is a rose is a rose is a rose,” one of Stein’s most famous lines, taken from her 1913 poem Sacred Emily.
